Cybersmile Announce Dwayne Johnson as July’s Cybersmiler of the Month Award Winner

We are excited to unveil Dwayne Johnson as July’s Cybersmiler of the Month Award winner for selflessly supporting UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo by securing a home for the struggling athlete and his family.

Themba, originally from Zimbabwe, only had $7 to his name before his first UFC win. Coming from a small village, he aspired to one day become a UFC champion, but in doing so, had to overcome overwhelming odds to pursue his dreams including not having his own home and sleeping on a couch at the MMA Masters gym in Miami.

Dwayne Johnson, who was touched by his journey and also recalled having just $7 to his name in Miami prior to his breakout in wrestling, decided to pitch in with a big surprise. Unveiling in a video message to his fans, Dwayne surprised Themba at the gym and told him he had put a house in Miami under lease for him. The heartwarming gesture follows Themba’s decision to send the proceeds of what he earned with the UFC to his home village in Zimbabwe to finance a new well.

“Welcome home Themba. You and your family enjoy your new house brother. Lights are on. Bills are paid. Keep your “My Reason” list close, keep taking care of your people and I’m honored to play a very, very small role in your $7 bucks journey.”
