Each month, Cybersmile recognizes a celebrity, brand, influencer or public figure who has gone the extra mile to make the world a better place. Whether it’s a Hollywood actress singing for children in a storm shelter, a brand that is putting people before profit, a celebrity sharing their personal experiences of mental health battles, a rock star paying tuition fees for young people suffering hardships or an influencer with their gloves on helping the climate – we believe that these people deserve recognition for their incredible acts of kindness and compassion.
Aside from the fact that people who help others are probably the least likely to self-promote their great work (all the more reason for us to recognize their selflessness once we get wind of it!), there is another reason for us to amplify word of their awesomeness – because kindness and positivity is contagious! We believe that by highlighting the great work of these amazing people, we will in turn be encouraging other people to be mindful of the ways that they can change the world through their own actions. We consider that a win-win situation!
