We are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Stephanie Fredrick to our international panel of expert advisors. She joins a number of renowned experts from the fields of research, mental health, gaming, and online safety to help ensure we remain at the forefront of internet safety and wellbeing.
Dr. Fredrick is an Associate Professor of School Psychology and the Associate Director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Her research investigates youth risk and protective factors for peer victimization and cyberbullying and the role of families, peers, and schools in preventing bullying, cyberbullying, and promoting youth well-being.

Dr. Fredrick is especially interested in youth digital media use, school-based cyberbullying prevention, and fostering digital citizenship. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics related to bullying, cyberbullying, and youth mental health and is frequently cited in media interviews on these topics, including Time, The Washington Post, Forbes, and Yahoo! News. She is dedicated to conducting and disseminating research and has provided over 90 workshops and presentations, including both student and parent workshops, for schools, community organizations, and conferences on bullying and cyberbullying prevention.
Dr. Fredrick is a valuable addition to our panel of experts. Her research and ongoing work to understand youth mental health and bullying behaviors will ensure that we continue to lead through science and data when developing services and initiatives.

The international panel members play a key role in the development and facilitation of our education programs, support services, research projects, and awareness campaigns.
