#OURGAMING

Introduction

#OURGAMING is a global campaign that promotes inclusive gaming across all demographics. Its objective is to gain insight into varying perspectives of gamers from all walks of life and facilitate self-awareness through collated media.

By participating in #OURGAMING 2017/18 you will be automatically entered to win one of three incredible prizes including a PS4 Pro, an XBOX ONE X, or an Alienware PC along with a host of the latest games titles. (You can view our TERMS and CONDITIONS before entering.)

Simply answer one of the following questions in your video to qualify and use the hashtag #OURGAMING. (You can answer more than one question, but you must create a separate video with each answer).

This year’s campaign runs through to midnight ET, February 28, 2018. A winner will be announced the week of March 7th 2018.

  • How would you like to see developers tackle toxicity within gaming?
  • How do you become an esports professional gamer?
  • How do you stop trash talk getting to you?
  • Do you think you need to be ‘thick-skinned’ to play video games online?
  • When does banter cross the line and become unacceptably abusive?
  • What’s the best and worst thing about gaming online?
  • How do you deal with in-game abuse?
  • How can you show your respect to other players in-game?
  • Where can new gamers learn about or join gaming communities?

Quick note: Throughout the year more questions will be added that you can answer to increase your chance of winning. In your video, say the question out loud first before answering so we know which question you are answering!

How to submit your video entries

1. First, once you have your video file, head over to https://wetransfer.com (free service). Follow the instructions when on the page to upload your file, then add our [email protected] email address into the ‘Email To’ field.

2. In the ‘Message’ field, enter your name and #OURGAMING submission.

For example: John Smith #OURGAMING submission

3. Click the transfer button and your file will start uploading. Leave the screen open until you can see it has been sent. You will also receive a confirmation email from We Transfer that your video was successfully sent and that’s it!

Note: Your video submission will be included in our library of submissions.
