Avakin Life Game Continues Partnership With Cybersmile Indefinitely

With millions of fans playing Avakin Life every month, this partnership is a fantastic way to deliver the Cybersmile message of positivity and support to millions of people – while raising vital funds at the same time!

Following on from a successful month long fundraising campaign for Cybersmile in December, Lockwood Publishing, creators of the virtual world game Avakin Life, have decided to continue with the partnership indefinitely.

Back in December 2016, Lockwood and Cybersmile partnered for a month long fundraising campaign by introducing a Cybersmile #POSITIVITY T-shirt into their in-game purchase options – with a donation being made to Cybersmile for every unit sold. The Avakin community is obviously a very positive one, because the uptake was so good that the game developers decided to leave the representation of Cybersmile within the game indefinitely! This means that all Avakin Life players will still have the opportunity to fashion their in-game character in one of our virtual #POSITIVITY t-shirts, while at the same time – supporting our mission for a positive and inclusive online environment for everybody.

“Lockwood are excited to be working with Cybersmile again, helping support their positive message and hard work.”

Joel Kemp – Co Founder and company Director, Lockwood Publishing

For those of you not in the know as of yet, Avakin Life is a 3D virtual world where you can create your own customized avatar and explore the Avakin Life world, meeting people and having fun. The Avakin 3D world is vast, and you can take your character from the bustle of inner city life to the tranquil setting of an oriental floating pagoda, in an instant. Players can decorate and furnish their own homes, hold parties, travel the world and choose from hundreds of outfits to create their own style.

“Everybody at Cybersmile is grateful to Lockwood for choosing to continue supporting and promoting our important work. We are all excited to continue the partnership. It’s a very positive, fun way to reach large numbers of people with our key messages of hope and positivity while raising crucial funds for our resources”.
