ask.fm Changes

Following the recent tragic suicide of Hannah Smith from Lutterworth, England, ask.fm have announced new plans to make the website a safer environment for the users by introducing among other things a report bullying/harassment button which will compel the website to investigate the reported comments. This button is expected to go live in September and will also direct the cyberbullying victim to a third party resource to receive the appropriate help and support required at the time.

This is definately a step in the right direction by the Latvian website but so much will depend on the time response of the investigation in to the comments at the ask.fm end and also, which third party resources are used to offer the help and support to the victims.
