Hi Kitty, thanks for reaching out on here. Remember that if you need support from a trained support advisor just email [email protected] and you'll be allocated someone to help you. Remember the golden rules, don't retaliate, save evidence and talk to someone. We are here if you need us : )
Sorry to hear Kitty but there's a couple of simple solutions.
When you're logged into Skype you can block and delete people from your list. You simply right click the user on the left hand side (where your contacts are) and click block. This means they'll no longer being to contact you or see you online.
Also keep in mind to not add anyone onto your Skype in future if you don't know who they are. You have no idea who is behind a 'display picture'. Same rule is encouraged on any social media. :)
Great advice Jo, and as mentioned before kitty we are here for support if you need us - [email protected] Also, it would benefit you to change your passwords yo something only you know (you need to know!) and never tell anyone!
Skype is a target for cyber bully's! First thing I suggest is to make sure you have not added them as a Skype contact
2. If not then show a adult the posts.
3. If your to scared to do that don't reply to him! Don't talk to him if you start saying stop it the bully knows he has won so he will keep doing it.
4. If he starts saying really offensive names and swearing tell your mum and dad or guardian straight away but if it's that bad the police will get involved
make sure you look after yourself kitty and hopefully you shall feel better soon :) I'm glad the advice people have given is helpful and feel free to ask if you need anymore help, everyone is more than willing to help.
It's a shame that some people need to wish death on others, it makes you wonder what kind of issue/problems they have. Don't listen to the Kitty (Obvs!) and follow the great advice you've been offered in this topic.
