Speak Up

Speak up … That is the best advice I can give to anyone whether being bullied online or in person. Do not be afraid to let someone know what is going on in your life. Even if it’s not your parents you tell, maybe if it’s a friend you have, a teacher, a pastor, or another close relative. Just let someone know, what is happening to you, you should not go through bullying moments alone.

When you go at it alone, that’s how things could turn for the worse. Your mental state can go haywire when you bottle up all those emotions inside you, and don’t share them with others. Also, trust yourself to put your trust in someone else. That may sound confusing, but let me explain. A lot of times many people being bullied don’t tell anyone else because they really don’t trust anyone, many times you go into a vulnerable state of mind when being bullied and feel as though everyone around you is out to get you. But you have to trust and believe there is someone out there that can help you through your bullying crisis.

Don’t think everyone is out to harm you, you need to trust in yourself that you can trust someone else to tell them about your situation. Another piece of advice, when being bullied, find your happy place. What I mean by that is, do not constantly focus on the bullying you receive. Whatever makes you happy whether it be something spiritual, reading a good book, spending time with family, etc. do that, and do not dwell (think about) your situation until everything is resolved.
