Saying No to Cyber Bullies

Last year, I was badly cyber bullied by all my classmates in my class. They called me all kind of names over Facebook. Like when I was assigned to their homework group, they would tell me over Facebook ‘Hey bi*ch, we do not welcome you in our group’.

I once told my teacher about this but I thought she didn’t care. They spread rumors about me over Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and all sort of social network media. In school,I was always that lonely girl in the corner that everybody laughs at. At that point of my life, I really feel like ending my life. But then, I felt that it was not worth it. Why end my life over people who just wanted to make my life miserable?

I pulled myself together and ignored those comments they said to me. I decided that these comments are not going to affect me. Then this year, I ‘found’ myself. The girl who jokes and laughs with everyone, and being friendly with everyone, including those who were in a situation that I once belonged to. Because I knew how it felt to be that very person, that everyone cyberbullies.
