Application Process & Eligibility
We take our responsibilities to safeguard service users, team members, and the wider public very seriously.
To help ensure every applicant understands key digital wellbeing issues, all applicants must complete a volunteer training course as part of their application. Applicants must also meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or older
- Own a home telephone
- Have a clean criminal record
- Provide necessary documentation (date of birth, proof of address, government-approved ID, work and education history, and criminal record background check)
- Agree to complete additional role-specific training if selcted
Volunteer Training
All accepted volunteers are required to complete our volunteer training course. Additional comprehensive training will also be provided for specific roles, with periodic refreshers to maintain your volunteer status.
Failure to complete required training will result in termination.
Response Timeline
Please allow up to 14 days for a response following your submission. If you do not hear back within this period, consider your application unsuccessful. You may reapply 12 months after your initial application date.
